Today, in our fourth-grade English class, we played a language game! By Molly Hu
Tic-Tac-Toe Game (10 minutes):
Divide the class into two teams. Draw a 6 by 6 table on the board with the rooms of the house on the top row and family members ; names on the left column. Two students from the same team come up to the board at a time. One student asks, & quot;Where is your (family member)? and the other student responds, He/She is in the (room of the house)." The student who answers correctly marks a dot in the corresponding field. The first team to connect four dots in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game. Applying this game to the class makes English class fun. Through this game, students can enhance their problem-solving and communication skills while also learning more vocabulary and expressions. The game can spark students ; learning interest and improve their learning efficiency.
